Helmut Spikker has bought Pierre Lang group

At the turn of the year the internationally known jewellery brand has gone over in the possession of Helmut Spikker. So the owner of the jewellery company changed from the hands of the family Andersen to the new enterprise group of Mr. Helmut Spikker. Above the purchase price was agreed mutual silence.
Now the 50-year-old owner from Ahlen informed of this. „I am glad about this chance to be able to transmit my long-standing experiences in the direct distribution“,  according to Helmut Spikker in a press release. „Pierre Lang stands for his unique product aesthetics and the highest craft quality. We will realise the further evelopment of Pierre Lang enterprises within a new enterprise group strictly straightened on worldwide growth. Such a trade name as Pierre Lang is full of sound and is very valuable - a piece of jewellery also in the real word sense.“
The family Andersen has resolved to lay the other growth in new and market experienced hands.

Pierre Lang sells his jewellery exclusively in the direct distribution. Presently about 800 permanently employed and several thousand independent advisers are active in twelve European countries for Pierre Lang. An annual turnover of more than 125 million € is gained with 1.3 million customers. By the highly qualitative production exclusively in own European locations in Austria and Ireland Pierre Lang clearly retreats from all other competitors. While other produce in Asian cheap wage countries with high retour quota, Pierre Lang produce quality and design.

Also after the sale of the enterprise LR Health & Beauty Systems GmbH founded by him, Helmut Spikker was active by participation in a huge number of companies furthermore. With the purchase of the known branch player Pierre Lang the business man from Ahlen sweeps back in the first league of the direct distribution enterprises. In 2004 he had sold his shares in LR to the private Equity society of Apax partner.

Also afterwards he has supplied LR with innovations and know-how. Thus the successful product lines Mikrosilver, Colostrum as well as Cistus are connected with his name. Nevertheless, all that did not reach to him. Helmut Spikker developed the vision of a worldwide direct distribution enterprise.

Now in 2010 Helmut Spikker overshoots therefore once again. Presently in his Westphalian hometown originates a production and logistics centre which will be finished in spring 2010. The 25 million € of investment contain a worldwide new machine park to the production and packaging ready for sending of products from the areas of Cosmetics and food supplement which are brought then also in the direct distribution to the customers. The company beginning in Ahlen is planned in
May 2010. In the medium term several 100 jobs will originate there.
